Essence from essential

Does essence truly exist under stratification or are the stratifications that define the essence?

A costume, a dress, a harmony of Art, a patchwork of the Female Spirit

Talents weaved like a tale where a journey is outlined through the threads of existence.

Here, the weaving, the intertwining, the lace, and the embroidery, are muted testimonies of women of the past, reassembled and reinvented, encompassing different eras.
The performance:

A visual manifesto, a path about identity: a liberation act

Tapping into the poem “Space” by Anna Swirszczynska

The artist thanks heartily who supported even only the idea of this event, but a special warm and soft thanks goes to the friend and “sister” Mariella Conte who inspired and instilled in me Anna Swirszczynska’s poem.

A sweet hug to costume designer Giovanna Scappucci who helped me with the final edits in the construction of the costume.

Polish violinist Wiktoria Zahorska, friend who’s been musically accompanying my performances in the last several months.

Tommaso Pavanello, the eye of the collective, fantastic videomaker, respectful of my passion for detail.

Stephanie Luna who assists me and supports me in EVERYTHING.
